Riesel
Riesel is a green interspecific grape variety. It is a cross between Riesling and a resistant partner, crossing number VB 11-11-89-12, created by the Swiss breeder Valentin Blattner in 1989.
It is a very healthy plant that is relatively easy to grow and tends to produce consistent bunches. Budburst comes a few days later than Solaris, which can be useful in cool-climate sites.
