Cabernet Blanc
Cabernet Blanc is a white grape variety bred from Cabernet Sauvignon and a resistant hybrid partner. It was developed by the Swiss breeder Valentin Blattner and is known for its strong resistance to several major fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and botrytis.
The variety produces small, thick-skinned berries in loose clusters and is well suited to cool-climate viticulture. Its resilience and ripening pattern make it especially attractive for growers working organically or regeneratively.
At Guldbæk Vingård, Cabernet Blanc is used in blends where it can contribute freshness, structure, and a distinct green-fruited profile.
