Aroma
Aroma is a Swedish apple variety developed in 1947 as a cross between Filippa and Ingrid Marie. It has become highly popular across the Nordic region because of its pronounced fruit character and fine balance of sweetness and acidity.
In cider and fruit wine it can contribute a soft, gently sweet profile with fresh fruit notes and a pleasant floral lift. It is especially well suited to styles with some natural residual sweetness.
